My mother has been a resident at Oakleaf Village since November 2009 and it has been a wonderful home for her. In her years there I have been so pleased with not only the care she receives but also the manner in which she is cared for. Unfortunately I recently had to move a few hours away from her and knowing she is well taken care of in my absence is a great comfort.

I came to visit Oakleaf Village for my mom in October of 2012. After touring the facility and speaking with June Peyer, I knew this would be the place for her. The facility was beautiful and friendly to all who enter. Mom has made Oakleaf her home since October 2012. It is always an adjustment when someone moves out of their home and into another but at Oakleaf Village everyone works together to make that adjustment easier.

There are activities everyday and outing a few times each week. Each member of that staff is conscientious and caring. There is something for everyone no matter what level of care is needed. I am thankful to have had the chance to meet and get to know the kind people who take care of my mom every day. I couldn’t ask for a better place.

We enjoy the staff and residents at Oakleaf very much. There are lots of activities including lunch out a restaurant once a week, Happy Hour, Popcorn Social, Red Hat ladies club, Bingo and much more. They keep us busy.

Oakleaf Village is my home! I enjoy spending time with the other residents. I love the caregivers and the fact they always are smiling. I’m very happy here and my children couldn’t have made a better choice for me. Oakleaf Village is "top of the line"!

My husband and I came to Oakleaf Village nine years ago after realizing we were entering into the phase of our lives requiring more care. We wanted to continue to reside together and many places did not have that option available. Since my husband’s death in 2007, I have remained at Oakleaf and the staff has been wonderful to me. I enjoy participating in a weekly Bible Study, Bingo, the Red Hat Society, and all the holiday and special events throughout the year. I have found Oakleaf to meet all of my needs and I am grateful for the care they give to me. I also love having my family close by!

There are so many things to like about Oakleaf Village. My particular favorites are the staff, Oakleaf’s location and the layout of the building which is so easy for the residents to get around in. I enjoy the food tremendously, and the advantage of doing things and talking to other residents.
